- Your image files are never uploaded. All conversion happens locally in your browser. We never see, store, or transmit them.

2. Information we do NOT collect
We want to be very clear about this: we do not receive, store, or process the image files you convert through our Service. All file decoding and encoding happens entirely within your browser using JavaScript and the HTML5 Canvas API. Your files do not travel across the internet to us.
3. Information we DO collect
3.1 Automatic technical data
Like almost every website, our hosting provider and analytics tools automatically receive certain technical information when you visit:
- Your IP address (used briefly for routing and abuse prevention)
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referring page (if any)
- Pages visited and time spent on each
- Approximate geographic location (city/country level, derived from IP)
3.2 Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Essential cookies – required for the site to function correctly.
- Analytics cookies – help us understand which pages are popular and how visitors move through the site.

For certain niche image formats (HEIC, TIFF, GIF), our converter loads small JavaScript libraries from public CDNs (jsDelivr, cdnjs). These CDNs may log standard request data such as IP address.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share data only with the third-party services described above (advertising, analytics, hosting), and only in the manner those services require to function.
7. Data retention
Because we don't process your files, there is nothing to retain on that front. Server access logs and analytics data are retained for the periods required by their respective providers (typically 14 to 26 months).
8. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
